Nature and movement
Hiking, walking, the ocean, mountains, volcanic landscapes, and different parts of the island help us literally step out of our familiar environment and bring back more movement, sensitivity, and presence.
ATMAN retreats
Several days outside your usual rhythm — among the ocean, volcanic landscapes, and mountains — to slow down, restore contact with the body, shift your attention, and look at your life from a different perspective.
ATMAN retreats bring together nature, movement, body and meditation practices, space for connection, and time for integration.
Why Tenerife
Tenerife is remarkable for its contrasts.
In a single day, you can be by the Atlantic Ocean, among the volcanic landscapes of Teide, in the cool green forests of Anaga, or on a black-sand beach beneath high cliffs.
A change of environment like this can itself help us step out of the automatic rhythm of everyday life and see ourselves a little differently.
I feel especially close to the north of the island — greener, calmer, and less tourist-oriented. Here it is easy to combine practices, hiking, the ocean, and ordinary living Canarian life.

How a retreat is structured
For me, a retreat is not a schedule that has to be completed at any cost.
It is a space where several days come together as one shared process.
Hiking, walking, the ocean, mountains, volcanic landscapes, and different parts of the island help us literally step out of our familiar environment and bring back more movement, sensitivity, and presence.
Depending on the retreat format, the process may include Pulsations, breathing practices, meditation, free movement, attention work, gentle body practices, and other tools.
Not every process requires constant activity.
A retreat needs room for silence, rest, time alone, conversation, observation, and integration of what is happening inside.
The program adapts to the group
Each retreat has its own theme, duration, and basic program structure.
But within that framework, I prefer to leave room for a living process.
The state of the group, participants’ needs, physical preparation, weather, the route, and what is actually unfolding can influence the shape of a particular day.
A retreat should not become a race through a schedule printed in advance.
It is important to preserve direction and the integrity of the process while still being able to slow down, shift the emphasis, allow more rest, or, on the contrary, add movement and practice when that is what the group genuinely needs.

Nature as part of the process
Specific locations depend on the season, weather, retreat format, and the group’s preparation.
In earlier retreat formats, the island’s nature was always one of the central parts of the program: Teide, Anaga, the northern coast, black volcanic beaches, Canarian towns, and mountain routes.
That principle remains.
We do not separate the practices from the environment in which they take place.
Sometimes a hike itself becomes a meditation.
Sometimes the ocean helps us step out of constant control more quickly.
Sometimes a day in the mountains creates more inner quiet than another indoor practice.
A retreat is not built around one technique.
Different formats may include:
The set of practices is always determined by the theme and purpose of the specific retreat.
A retreat may be especially relevant when you want to step out of your usual context for a few days and look at yourself and your life from a little more distance.
What you may take home with you
I do not want to promise that a few days will necessarily “transform your whole life.”
But a change of environment, nature, practices, and a living group process can create conditions in which many things begin to be perceived differently.
Earlier retreat formats included accommodation, practices, hikes and trips around the island, food, and transport within the program.
New retreats may be structured differently.
The exact list of what is and is not included in the price is always published on the page of the specific retreat.

No. Different retreats may have different levels of depth, but if prior experience is required, that will be stated separately on the Event page.
It depends on the specific retreat and routes. The program adapts to the group’s preparation, but the level of physical demand and requirements should always be stated in advance on the specific Event page.
Yes. In previous formats, many participants came on their own. The retreat includes a group space, but you do not need to come with a partner or a group of friends.
In Tenerife. The specific base, accommodation area, and routes are published separately for each retreat.
It depends on the specific Event. Previous retreats used vegetarian / vegan breakfasts and dinners, but those conditions must not be assumed automatically for future retreats.
Transfer conditions are stated on the page of the specific retreat. In previous programs, airport transfers in both directions were included in the package.
A retreat is a living process, not a compulsory marathon. The possibility of skipping individual activities depends on the format and safety of the specific event.
There is an overall framework, theme, and key elements, but the content of individual days may adapt to the group, weather, participants’ physical state, and the development of the overall process.
The exact list depends on the season and program. Usually you will need comfortable footwear, clothes for movement and practices, a small backpack, sun protection, a windbreaker, a water bottle, and things for the ocean.
The languages of a specific retreat are stated on the Event page. Do not publish RU / EN / ES automatically without confirming the format of the specific group.
Several days in a different environment can create more space than another attempt to solve everything from the same state.
Tenerife offers a rare combination for this: ocean, mountains, movement, silence, practices, and the possibility of living at a different rhythm for a while.
